The Northwestern Ontario Forest Council (NOFC) is a not for profit group of business, labour, government, academia and community representatives who share the vision of improving the economy of northwestern Ontario by building upon its major asset, a strong and healthy forest sector.

Much of the economy in northwestern Ontario is dependant on this industry. A forum where the various parties come together to review and share current information, and work together as one voice in support of this sector is vital.

The NOFC provides a forum for sharing information, building relationships and developing collaborative initiatives among forest sector interests and forest dependent communities in northwestern Ontario.

This website has been developed to encourage dialogue, and enhance the communication of key forest sector information between members and other parties throughout Ontario and the northwest.
